Anahit Harutyunyan (BAPG ’29)

My interest in international affairs, economics, and diplomacy inspired me to choose the BAPG program, where I can study how political and social processes shape the world. I am eager to understand how global dynamics influence economies, governance, and international cooperation and am particularly passionate about promoting the role of women in diplomacy and empowering them to take leadership positions in global decision-making.

I have been an active volunteer in various initiatives, most recently with UNESCO, where I worked with peers to address social issues, engaging with diverse groups and strengthening my interpersonal skills. I believe every interaction is an opportunity to learn and grow, and that building meaningful networks is essential in today’s interconnected world.

Through my studies at BAPG, I aim to deepen my understanding of global issues and contribute to cross-cultural understanding and sustainable international development. I am currently learning French to strengthen my diplomatic profile and have a strong interest in sports diplomacy as an innovative tool for fostering international dialogue and cooperation.
