BAPG Students at International Forum for World Youth 2025 in Bangkok

BAPG senior students Emma Martirosyan and Mari Mkrtchyan recently took part in the International Forum for World Youth (IFWY) 2025, held in Bangkok. The forum brought together young leaders from across Asia and the Pacific to engage in meaningful dialogue on pressing regional and global challenges, with a particular focus on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Throughout the program, Emma and Mari participated in interactive sessions, where participants identified key issues, drafted policy proposals and explored ways to scale their recommendations for broader impact. Discussions centered on how youth-driven ideas could be presented to relevant UN bodies and adapted as best practices across diverse communities.

Emma joined the working group on environmental preservation and sustainability, contributing ideas on how to address ecological challenges in the Asia-Pacific region. Meanwhile, Mari focused on artificial intelligence and technological development, exploring both opportunities and risks in the field.

Reflecting on the experience, the students describe IFWY 2025 as a unique opportunity to amplify their voices, share vision for a sustainable future and collaborate with other emerging leaders.
