From July 3rd to 29th, she immersed herself in the Exchange Francophone CIFC program – an intensive, French-language experience exploring the role of art in society and Generation Z’s life. Organized by the Lions Club of France and the Centre International Francophone (CIF), the program combined hands-on classes in music, theatre, dance, and creative writing with visits to local city halls in the Bretagne region.

Living with French host families added an authentic dimension to the experience, sharpening Astghik’s language skills and cultural awareness.

The program concluded with a showcase of original performances created by the participants. Astghik proudly represented Armenia on stage and shared her culture by preparing traditional dishes that delighted her peers. Her artistic talents were also featured in the program’s official journal through one of her original illustrations.

Reflecting on the experience, Astghik shared: “It was inspiring to collaborate with peers from different countries, celebrate diversity, and see how art connects us all.”
