PG Junior student Emma Martirosyan takes the first place in Ex Oriente competition
BA Politics and Governance (PG) Junior student Emma Martirosyan won the research competition “View from Armenia” organized by the Ex Oriente Union of Armenian Orientalists. The event took place on September 23rd at the Hrant Matevosyan Cultural Center and Museum, where 76 participants from various Armenian universities presented their research projects. Emma presented her research topic on “Iran and South Caucasus: Understanding Relations with Armenia and Azerbaijan” by focusing on Iran’s geopolitical and economic implications and Iran’s bilateral relations with Armenia and with Azerbaijan.
Another AUA PG team represented by Irina Baldatyan (PG Senior), Ashot Aghayan (PG Junior), and Oganes Gojabashyan (PG Junior) advanced to the final stage of the competition.
